If he’s gone by today’s NBA trade deadline, Kurt Thomas will have exited swinging.

The Knick forward – who got into it verbally with Stephon Marbury during a Jan. 28 home loss to Cleveland – jabbed at the point guard (if ever-so-slightly) once again yesterday.

Asked if Knick president Isiah Thomas had consulted him on any trade possibilities, Thomas said, “Not me – maybe other guys, but not me.”

Then, asked which “other guys,” Thomas replied, “the guy who wears No. 3” – meaning Marbury.

On Jan. 28, Thomas snapped at Marbury, “Everyone in this organization is afraid of you, but I’m not. I’ll beat your [butt].”

Amid the trade talk, the Knicks did hold a practice for tonight’s Garden match against the 76ers.

Coach Herb Williams said Nazr Mohammed will start at center despite lingering soreness from a strained groin. Mohammed played 15 minutes in Tuesday’s 97-88 loss to the Pistons, scoring two points.

“They start [Sammy] Dalembert,” Williams said. “I think that’s a good matchup for him.”
