LARRY OK AFTER SURGERY
Though Larry Brown’s days as Knicks coach are numbered, The Post has learned his days of living a normal lifestyle have returned.
According to a source close to the Browns, the coach’s devastating bladder problem has been resolved after Friday’s surgery in a Manhattan hospital.
For nearly two years, since having complications after hip surgery, Brown has needed a catheter to go to the bathroom.
The source said that no longer will be the case.
Two prior surgeries did not correct the problem.
The Browns privately are thrilled with Knicks director of medical care Lisa Callahan.
It’s ironic that such good news is being tempered by such bad news. Brown’s one-year Knicks tenure looks to be history because of philosophical differences with ownership.
