LeBron James had 41 points and 10 rebounds and the Cavaliers held off a fourth-quarter Trail Blazers rally for a 106-94 victory last night in Portland.

Shaquille O’Neal had 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Cavaliers, who won their sixth straight against the Blazers.

James was 8 for 8 from the floor for 20 points in the first quarter alone. He finished 13 of 19 from the field and made 12 of 14 free-throw attempts.

Brandon Roy scored 34 points for the Blazers.

Lakers 95, Bucks 77

In Los Angeles, Andrew Bynum had 17 points and a career-high 18 rebounds, and the Lakers avoided their first three-game losing streak in nearly two years.

Shannon Brown added 19 points, Jordan Farmar scored 15 of his 17 in the second half, Kobe Bryant had 12 points on 4 of 21 shooting, and Derek Fisher 11 for the defending NBA champions.

Hakim Warrick had 14 points, Jodie Meeks 12, and Brandon Jennings, Luke Ridnour and Charlie Bell 10 each for the Bucks, who had won three in a row but dropped to 5-11 on the road.

Hornets 115, Wizards 110

In Washington, Chris Paul scored eight of his 26 points in the final three minutes to lead the Hornets to their to their sixth straight win.

Peja Stojakovic scored 20 points, and Paul added 14 assists for New Orleans, who have won three straight away from home.

Antawn Jamison scored 32 points for the Wizards, and Randy Foye had 23 starting in place of Gilbert Arenas to set a season-high for the second consecutive game.

Celtics 114, Raptors 107

In Toronto, Rajon Rondo had 22 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds for his first triple-double of the season, and Rasheed Wallace scored a season-high 29 points in the Celtics’ seventh straight win over the Raptors.

Clippers 94, Heat 84

In Los Angeles, Chris Kaman had 22 points and 14 rebounds, Baron Davis had 11 points and 14 assists, and the revitalized Clippers won their sixth straight home game. Dwyane Wade scored 24 points for the Heat.
