No, it isn’t the final four many would have expected – especially on one side of the bracket. But the journey to get here has been wild and Wednesday shouldn’t be any different.

The CHSAA Class AA boys basketball semifinals will go down at St. John’s University’s Carnesecca Arena on Wednesday night with the winners advancing to Sunday’s championship game at Fordham University.

And a new champ will be crowned in The Bronx. Mount St. Michael stunned Christ the King, ending the Royals’ two-year reign atop the city. CK had also been in six straight finals. Mount will meet another unlikely semifinalist, Holy Cross. The other game is a grudge match between St. Raymond and Cardinal Hayes, that should be a classic.

If you can’t make it out to the corner of Union Turnpike and Utopia Parkway on Wednesday night, don’t worry about it. NYPost.com has you covered. Marc Raimondi, like he did Sunday for the quarterfinals, will be there to chronicle both games via our interactive live blog, beginning at 5:45 p.m. Just click below to start it up.
