Louisville guard Kevin Ware left Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis on Tuesday and will be joining the rest of the Cardinals in Atlanta for the Final Four.

Ware, who suffered a horrific broken leg in Sunday’s 85-63 win over Duke in the Elite 8, tweeted a picture of himself leaving the hospital on crutches with the help of a staffer.

“Back to my brothers I go,” Ware wrote in a caption that accompanied the picture.

Ware will fly to his hometown Atlanta as Louisville prepares to play Wichita State in the Final Four on Saturday.

The sophomore has received a strong outpouring of support since he suffered the injury, including getting a phone call from former Redskins quarterback Joe Theismann.

Ware is expected to make a full recovery and his timetable for return could have him back with the team before the end of next season.
