MANAGING HIS MONEY
* Shouldn’t Mets manager Willie Randolph be more of a man, and instead of pushing for a new contract, honor his word? Randolph’s tactics seem particularly ungrateful when you consider that the Wilpons were the only folks willing to give him a chance as a manager.
Also discounted by much of the media is the extra income one can make by managing in New York: endorsements, corporate speaking gigs, radio sponsorships, etc.

* Willie Randolph should have been signed long ago to a new contract. The man should have been manager of the year. While the Mets were busy signing over-the-hill subs, Willie was waiting for a new deal.
