Chad Pennington (31 of 42, 304 yards, 1 TDs, 1 INT) did just about everything right until he threw fourth- quarter INT that sparked Buffalo comeback. Redeemed him self, though, by engineering game-winning drive. C+

RUNNING BACKS

Curtis Martin’s 77 rushing yards on 22 carries were key to victory. FB Jerald So well had 7 catches for 31 yards.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Wayne Chrebet (8-90) had his best game since 2001. Santana Moss (2-62) cramped up in second half and wasn’t available.B

TIGHT ENDS

Anthony Becht had two catches for 30 yards, the second a spectacular diving grab on the game-winning drive. Chris Baker (3-33) caught a TD pass, but also fumbled and had a blatant drop. B-

BD+>OFFENSIVE LINE

RT Kareem McKenzie, who gave up a sack on Sunday, now has given up three in last two games. B

DEFENSIVE LINE

DE John Abraham had 3 sacks and 6 tackles and was dominant. DTs Jason Fer guson and Dewayne Robertson stuffed middle against run. B

LINEBACKERS

Jonathan Vilma led the way with 7 tackles and a sack. B

SECONDARY

CB Donnie Abraham had 3 passes de fensed to go with 6 tackles, but he dropped a potential INT. CB David Barrett gave up a late long TD, but had team- high 8 tackles. B

SPECIAL TEAMS

Good job of KO return coverage on Buffa lo’s Terrence McGee (23-yard average). B

KICKING GAME

Doug Brien booted game-winning 38-yard FG in the final seconds but also missed a 29-yarder early. P Toby Gowin averaged 30 yards on 3 punts. B

COACHING

Herman Edwards played it pretty conser vatively. Defensive coordinator Donnie Henderson was a star in stopping the Buf falo rushing attack. B
