If planking seemed too intelligent a pursuit for you, the latest trend for knuckleheads might be your next new thing: running people over with golf carts.
The Instagram TotalFratMove is all over it.
Naturally, the trend began with an Internet meme. A Vine video posed the question: Would you run over your best friend for $2 million?
The answer, it would seem, is a resounding “yes.” In fact, people will do it for free.
Is it funny to watch? Sure, in the same way that “Jackass” reruns on a rainy afternoon are funny. But, unsurprisingly, this prank can go horribly wrong.
Just look at this guy, who was allegedly mowed down, according to Barstool.
Sportswriter Luke Kerr-Dineen nailed it when he wrote, “There are stupid trends, there are dangerous trends, and there’s this, which resides squarely in both categories.”
He concludes with good advice: “Please don’t do this.”
