Dave Howard, the Mets’ Executive VP of Business Operations, released a statement early last night regarding the negotiations between MSG Network and Time-Warner Cable. It read as follows:
“We are very upset and concerned that our fans in the Time-Warner service areas may not receive our games on cable starting tomorrow evening.
“Unfortunately, we have no control or involvement in the negotiations, which only adds to the frustration we are experiencing.
“We hope that both parties will make every effort to come to an agreement quickly so that our fans can receive our games as soon as possible.”
