Boris Mironov, who became an unrestricted free agent on July 1 after a quite credible half-season on Broadway, appears close to re-upping with the Rangers after two days of conversations in Calgary between GM Glen Sather and agent Paul Theofanous, The Post has learned.

Mironov, who turned 31 in March, went plus-three with 12 points (3-9) in 36 games after coming to New York from Chicago on Jan. 8 for a fourth-round selection in next year’s draft. It’s believed the Rangers would like to sign Mironov to a short-term deal at between $2-2.5M per.
