That is not the look of retirement.

Conor McGregor claimed he was retiring from mixed martial arts in an early Tuesday morning tweet, but a day later, he was spotted training in the boxing ring at Fight Club Gym in Miami, according to a video obtained by TMZ Sports.

The timing of McGregor’s announcement seemed strange, as the Irishman had said as recently as Monday night on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” that he was in talks for an MMA fight in July. Then, hours later, came the tweet signaling his retirement.

“Hey guys quick announcement, I’ve decided to retire from the sport formally known as “Mixed Martial Art” today,” McGregor wrote on Twitter at 1:18 a.m. “I wish all my old colleagues well going forward in competition. I now join my former partners on this venture, already in retirement. Proper Pina Coladas on me fellas!”

Later on Tuesday, news broke that McGregor was under investigation for sexual assault in Ireland, per the New York Times. He was accused of assaulting a woman in December and was arrested the following month.

McGregor had previously announced his retirement in 2016, after he was removed from the UFC 200 card, but it only lasted briefly. His last fight came at UFC 229 in October, when he lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov by fourth-round submission. In the ring, he lost to Floyd Mayweather in a mega-bout in August 2017.
