Put it on Conor McGregor’s tab.

It will prove to be a costly trip to the bar for the former UFC champion, but McGregor has avoided jail time after punching a man at an Ireland bar last April, ESPN reported. Instead, McGregor pleaded guilty and was fined $1,116.16 on Friday.

“I assure you nothing of this nature will happen again regarding me,” McGregor said in court.

According to police, McGregor punched the man because he would not take a shot of whiskey with him. McGregor was at the bar to promote his whiskey.

McGregor reportedly had 18 previous convictions, but his legal representative asked the court to give McGregor “one last chance,” per ESPN. He also noted that a criminal conviction could put McGregor’s visa status for the United States in danger and create “very severe difficulties” for his career.

McGregor has not fought since losing to Khabib Nurmagomedov by submission in UFC 229 in October of 2018. Last week, he announced his next fight will be Jan. 18 in Las Vegas
