With 22 goals and 47 points, Alexander Mogilny was the only Devil named to the World Team squad for the Feb. 4 All-Star Game in Denver. Larry Robinson will be an assistant coach for the World Team, while goalie Martin Brodeur and defenseman Scott Stevens were added to the North American Team Tuesday.

Mogilny, who will be making his fifth All-Star appearance (first with the Devils), has been on a month-long tear. Heading into tonight’s game at Philadelphia, he has 15 goals in his last 15 games, aiming to become the first Devil to average more than a point-per-game since the 1989-90 season in which Kirk Muller registered 86 points in 80 games.

With a 5-4 loss to Boston Tuesday at the Meadowlands, the Devils (22-12-9-0) ended their unbeaten streak at 11 games (7-0-4). They and the Blues are the only teams with unbeaten streaks of nine or more games this season.

The Devils will try to beat the Flyers tonight for the first time in four games this season (0-1-2). A Devil loss would catapult the Flyers (21-14-9-1) ahead of them for first place in the Atlantic Division. The Devils are 3-0-1 in their last four road games.
