AUBURN HILLS – Kerry Kittles was the marquee name exposed by the Nets for the upcoming expansion draft, but league sources indicated that the Charlotte Bobcats have more interest in Tamar Slay, also left unprotected by New Jersey. Slay, who has played 58 games and 439 minutes in his two seasons, is a restricted free agent.

The source also confirmed the four players left unprotected by the Nets as Kittles, Slay, Alonzo Mourning and Rodney Rogers. The expansion draft will be June 22 if the Finals end in five or six games, or June 23 if the series goes seven.
