Post columnist Phil Mushnick has been named New York State Sportswriter of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association. It’s the fourth time in eight years Mushnick has received that honor.

Also honored were WNBC’s Bruce Beck as New York State Sportscaster of the Year and CBS’ Jim Nantz as NSSA Sportscaster of the Year.

Mushnick, Beck and Nantz will be honored May 4 at the NSSA awards banquet in Salisbury, N.C.
