NYCFC lost their second straight game in the MLS is Back Tournament, but Jesus Medina made it worth their while.

The 23-year-old Paraguayan bodied down a cross from Heber at the top of the box in NYCFC’s 3-1 loss to Orlando City on Tuesday night and lasered a volley into the top corner to pull NYCFC within a goal before halftime.

Medina missed a chance at a second goal in the second half and was subbed from the game a few minutes later.

The loss likely ends NYCFC’s chances to advance in the MLS is Back Tournament as they fell six points behind Group A leaders Orlando City and now are 0-4 in the MLS regular season.
