As reported by the Post on Saturday, at Monday’s board meeting of the New York Racing Association, NYRA named a three-person interim management team – Glen Kozak, Vice President of Facilities and Racing Surfaces; David O’Rourke, Vice President of Corporate Development; and Susanne Stover, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer) – to run the organization until a new chief executive officer take the reins.
NYRA chairman David Skorton said, “We’re making progress (toward hiring a CEO) and we expect that soon we’ll be able to bring finalists before the Nominations and Governance Committee, followed by the full board. Until that decision is made, I look forward to working with the interim management team and members of the full board to ensure progress and appropriate stewardship.”
