Ohio State senior defensive tackle Haskell Garrett was found shot in the cheek near the school’s campus early Sunday morning, according to Columbus police.
Garrett, who is currently in stable condition at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, was discovered by officers around 12:28 a.m. after following a trail of blood which stretched for roughly two blocks. The incident is currently under investigation.
A Las Vegas native, Garrett, 22, has appeared in 33 games with the Buckeyes, recording 10 tackles last season.
