The 2024 Olympics have officially begun in Paris.

The Opening Ceremony started 1:30 p.m. EST with athletes arriving in boats via the controversial Seine River.

By the end of the ceremony, the Olympic flame will be lit.

LeBron James and Coco Gauff are the flag bearers for the USA.

The opening ceremony is airing live on NBC and streaming on Peacock.

Celine Dion wowed the Olympic crowd with a beautiful performance right beneath the Eiffel Tower.

Dion, donning a gorgeous and sparkling white gown, belted out in her native French language. Dion has recently been largely away from the public eye as she's been struggling with Stiff Person Syndrome.

Stunning Eiffel Tower light show inspires cheers at 2024 Olympics opening ceremonies

A dazzling light show was presented at the Eiffel Tower, with sparking lights and bright blue beams seemingly shooting right out of the iconic landmark.

The stunning, complex display inspired loud cheers and cries from the crowds watching from beneath.

The Olympic flag has been raised for this year's summer Olympics in Paris during the opening ceremony.

The horsewoman, Floriane Issert, a non-commissioned officer for the National Gendarmerie, carried the flag onstage at Place du Trocadero.

Team USA finally made it's way into the spotlight with it's boat full of cheering American athletes.

Despite the rain that's been pounding down on the athletes over the last couple of hours, the Americans are smiling wide and cheering loud.

Tyrese Haliburton jokes with Joel Embiid to 'give his passport back'

The US men's basketball team is all jokes on the boat.

Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton quipped at Sixers' big man Joel Embiid to 'give his passport back.'

This could be in reference to Embiid being born in Cameroon.

The US men's team seems to be in good spirts before competition tips off.

Celine Dion spotted in Paris ahead of anticipated opening ceremony performance

Celine Dion was spotted leaving her hotel in Paris ahead of her expected performance at the end of the opening ceremony later tonight.

Dion has been largely out of the public eye since disclosing that she's suffering from Stiff Person Syndrome.

The local spectators didn't give the Israel delegation a warm welcome.

Lady Gaga leaves fans tickled pink with high-energy performance

Lady Gaga had viewers of the 2024 Summer Olympics opening ceremony in Paris tickled pink.

The Oscar-winning singer, 38, performed a rendition of the French song “Mon Truc En Plume,” or “My Thing Made of Feathers.”

Gaga appropriately made her entrance to the Paris opening ceremony surrounded by dancers holding giant pink feathers and matching umbrellas as she descended a grand flight of golden stairs along the banks of the Seine.
