An Olympic speed walker’s dreams were dashed when he couldn’t make it to the bathroom on time — and collapsed midway through a race on a crappy Friday, according to a report.

Yohann Diniz of France was competing in the 50k speedwalking event in Rio on Friday, when nasty stomach pains forced him to crap out, Deadspin.com reported.

The poor guy shoved “a sponge down his pants to soak up wet fecal matter,” then “[threw] the sponge off toward the crowd” before toppling over, according to the sports website.

Diniz finished in eighth place, six minutes behind the winner — but he’ll go down in history as number two.
