Though there has been softball and soccer competition this past week, July 23 marks the official start of the Tokyo Olympics.

Here are the must-see events of Friday’s Olympic competition.

Due to the 13-hour time difference between Tokyo and the east coast of the U.S., the Opening Ceremony will be rebroadcast. The primetime broadcast will include additional coverage of Team USA alongside the ceremony.

The men’s peloton race will mark the first competition that will award a medal. Slovenia and the United Arab Emirates are favorites to win gold.

Four-time Olympian Novak Djokovic will begin his first match against Bolivia’s Hugo Dellien. The Serb is coming off wins at the Australian Open, French Open, and Wimbledon as he aims for a calendar Golden Grand Slam.
