Rex Ryan doesn’t have the copyright on bravado in the AFC East.

Dolphins owner Stephen Ross said he expects his team to make it to the Super Bowl this season.

“I think in February, we will be playing in the Super Bowl,” Ross told the Orlando Sentinel.

Asked if was putting too much pressure on coach Tony Sparano Ross responded, “Put it this way, he thinks that, too. So does every player on that team. I don’t think there’s any pressure on it. We’ve just got to go out and do it.”

Ryan recently said the Jets’ goal does not stop at advancing to the Super Bowl.

“We have only one goal and that’s to win the Super Bowl. And that’s what we plan on doing this year,” the Jets coach said of his team that lost in the AFC Championship game to the Colts last season.

The Jets and Dolphins meet for the first time in Week 3 in a Sunday night showdown of two of the game’s best young quarterbacks. The Jets have Mark Sanchez, but Miami does not lack confidence in Chad Henne.

“I think the Miami Dolphins have a great quarterback for the future and I think everybody in South Florida is excited about what Chad Henne brings to this team,” Ross said.
