RON THE LAWYER been way overdue to score at this level and cuts back after tiring while having third locked up in route try. Previous was wide trip for third, just missing second while sprinting. PATERNO returned three months later after a dull debut and broke slow, dueled and drifted for fourth. Can jump ahead here. CAMPO’S SONG tired at this level in debut then was third in last. Drops in class again.

WILLIES GRAND SLAM broke slow and was three wide in debut on grass at Gulfstream back in March. Switches barns and lures top rider.

RIDE CANDY RIDE makes fifth straight attempt at this level and has closed well in last two. Repeat will put in mix here.

FORGOTTEN VOW missed by a neck three back, then had a poor break before dropping to this level in last and besting rest after a wide bid. BUY ON THE RUMOR debuts for new barn that is 17% with new runners after showing little in first two starts at Gulfstream before dropping to lower level than today’s where he just missed at wire.

MY WILD IRISH ROSE hesitated at the break two back and finished third then returned at shorter and closed for a close fourth after crashing through the doors before the race. FRENCH CONCORDE broke slow and showed little in turf sprint against allowance runners, now returns back to level where she can compete with a decent trip. TALES OF PARADISE broke maiden in last from widest post and looks like she’s able to compete with some of these.

HALLIE BROOKS has been the runner up in last four starts, three of which are at today’s level. Should be in the mix once again. MAGIC CHARM debuted here in last after decent three start campaign at Tampa Bay. Chased leader and faded to third at this level and has three works since.
