‘PEN HOPES ON TYLER
A look at who to play this week, and who to sit:
BIG WEEKS
Tyler Thigpen
(QB, Chiefs)
Has six TDs and zero INTs in past three games. Should chalk up best statistical game yet this week against soft Saints defense.
Jake Delhomme
(QB, Panthers)
Completed 7-of-27 for 72 yards with four INTs last week (and, oops, one TD). Should rebound from horrible Oakland outing vs. lax Lions.
Julius Jones
(RB, Seahawks)
Still suffering from woes in passing game. Will try to keep ball out of the hands of explosive Cardinals offense.
BIG WEAKS
Philip Rivers
(QB, Chargers)
Cool and rainy conditions in Steel City could put damper on San Diego air attack. Cross-country trip will not help either.
Andre Johnson
(WR, Texans)
Colts have allowed a league-low two passing TDs. And we wonder if QB Sage Rosenfels will try too hard to make up for his Week 5 debacle.
Brandon Jacobs
(RB, Giants)
Big Blue will be better off attacking Ravens through air. Don’t be surprised if Jacobs suffers a fumble or two.
