See You At Peelers was nothing short of perfect, extending her career undefeated streak to 21 last night at Yonkers Raceway.

Driven by Marcus Johansson and trained by Hall of Fame nominee Jimmy Takter, the fantastic filly tore up the competition in a $46,826 division of the Rye Pace, winning by 2½ lengths over Tea Party Princess. New Album was third.

“Today I thought she looked as good as she ever did,” said Takter. “She’ll go down in the book as the best horse I’ve ever been around.”

The overwhelming 1-9 favorite, See You At Peelers went right for the lead and never was challenged as she took her New York Sire Stake competition through quarters of :28 2/5, :57 1/5 and 1:25 1/5, finally tripping the teletimer in 1:52 2/5.

Though Takter has trained many stakes-winning horses, including the last three Yonkers Trot champions, he knows Peelers is special.

“This is not the kind of horse that comes along ever year. This is a unique horse. Right now she’s writing history,” he said.

Peelers returned $2.10 to win.
