Kyle Schwarber just stole the hearts of America.

With the outfielder’s steal in the seventh inning of World Series Game 1, Taco Bell customers can get their free Doritos Locos Taco as a part of the “Steal a Base, Steal a Taco” promotion.

To redeem the item, participants can download the company’s app and register as a Taco Bell Rewards member within the next 10 days.

Schwarber expressed after the game, “Enjoy those tacos. Who would have thought?”

The Phillies slugger has stolen 26 bases between the regular and postseason throughout his 8-year major league career.

The promotion, which has occurred each year since 2007, has allowed customers to snag an item with a steal by a “Taco Hero.”

Schwarber’s successful attempt also coincides with Wawa’s “Schwarberfest,” a campaign providing Wawa hoagie enthusiasts with $5 and $6 Shorti and Classic subs, respectively, through the end of the Fall Classic.

Bryce Harper appreciated the Wawa promotion, thanking the chain after the Phillies’ NLCS Game 4 win.

“I guess I’ll thank Wawa for Schwarberfest,” he joked.

Players like Ozzie Albies, Mookie Betts, Trea Turner, Cameron Maybin and Francisco Lindor have gifted the US free tacos the past seven years.

In 2012, 2008 and 2007, Ángel Pagán, Jason Bartlett and Jacoby Ellsbury respectively did the same.

If Philadelphia supporters needed more reason to rally behind the team, which signed Schwarber to a four-year $75 million contract in March 2022, eight of the last 10 teams to have the “Taco Hero” have gone on to win theWorld Series.

With the Phillies’ Game 1 victory over the Houston Astros, the trend appears to continue while the US enjoys its treats.

Game 2 begins tonight at 8:03 p.m. ET in Houston.
