RUTGERS at NAVY 1:30 p.m.

CSTV Line: Navy by 11/2.

Angle: One of the more intriguing games of the weekend pits undefeated Rutgers, coming off a bye week, at Navy, which is one blocked extra-point away from being undefeated. The Middies have the nation’s best rushing attack (350 yards per game). Rutgers is 11th in rushing defense and the Scarlet Knights have had seven practices to prepare for the flexbone.

OHIO STATE at MICHIGAN STATE 3:30 p.m.

Ch.7 Line: Ohio State by 15.

Angle: The Buckeyes have established themselves as the undisputed No. 1 team in the nation. Get this: a defense that had to replace nine starters is No. 1 in the nation in scoring defense. Talk about reloading. Michigan State has shown it has no leadership. At the first sign of adversity, the Spartans collapsed. Does this talented team have one last shot at saving its season?

Eyes on: Ohio St. QB Troy Smith; Michigan St. coach John L. Smith.

PREDICTION: Ohio St. 20, Michigan St. 17.

FLORIDA at AUBURN 7:45 p.m.

ESPN Line: Pick ’em.

Angle: The Gators are in the midst of the most grueling four-stretch any team will play this season (Alabama, LSU, at Auburn, vs. Georgia in Jacksonville). Oh yes, they already won at Tennessee. Auburn is reeling after a shocking 51-33 home loss to the Vols. Florida is the better, more balanced team. But if the Tigers are in a frenzy after last week and Florida can’t sustain, another undefeated will drop from the national title race.

Eyes on: Florida LB Brandon Siler; Auburn RB Kenny Irons.

PREDICTION: Auburn 14, Florida 12.

MICHIGAN at PENN STATE 8 p.m.

Ch.7 Line:Michigan by 6.

Angle: Where is Penn State? The Nittany Lions have beaten the teams they’re supposed to beat and lost to the elite (Notre Dame and Ohio State). The Nittany Lions have a seven-game losing streak against the Wolverines.

Michigan’s 27-25 last-second win last season is all that stood between Penn State and an undefeated season. The Wolverines will be without WR Mario Manningham (knee).

This is their last big road test before the Nov. 18 showdown at Ohio State.

Eyes on: Michigan DE LaMarrWoodley; Penn State RB Tony Hunt.

PREDICTION: Michigan 27, Penn State 23.

Last week: 1-4; Overall: 16-13-1.
