Although he still expects to be in training camp Tuesday, Lavor Postell, the Knicks’ second-round pick, did not sign on the dotted line yesterday as he had planned.

Postell, who had requested a trade during the summer because he didn’t foresee a playing-time role on the club, expected to sign today for the minimum $317,000 wage but a minor snag has developed. The former St. John’s star is still debating on whether to sign for more than one season.

The 6-6 Postell said he’ll likely sign by Monday. Postell can’t attend camp without a contract. “There’s no problems,” Postell said. “I should be in camp if everything works out.”
