Lincoln completed its first perfect regular season in 10 years, topping New Dorp, 38-0, in Coney Island Friday night. The last time the Railsplitters, ranked third in the city by The Post, went 9-0, back in 2000, they were upset by Port Richmond in the quarterfinals.
“It’s great for the guys, but we got some bigger goals to accomplish,” Lincoln coach Shawn O’Connor said. “It’s not about the regular season for us. We’re looking to do some damage in the playoffs.”

On the night the Brooklyn school honored former student and football player Emmanuel Williams, the younger brother of All-American defensive end/tight end Ishaq Williams who was murdered April 15 of last year at the age of 15, Ishaq caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Andrew Vital and also had a pair of sacks.
“He played like somebody was up there watching him,” O’Connor said of Ishaq Williams, who recently cut his college list down to USC, Syracuse, Alabama, Notre Dame and Penn State. Before the opening kickoff, Lincoln unveiled a banner with his name and number, had a moment of silence and announced a scholarship in his name.
Vital also ran for a pair of touchdowns, Kareem Folkes picked up 118 yards on the ground and Kerrick Simmons and Andrew Justice returned interceptions to the house. Miguel Acevedo also scored on a 60-yard touchdown run.
O’Connor was particularly pleased to see Ishaq Williams and Vital return so well from injuries and his offense explode for 24 points after mustering only 8 in a win over Canarsie the previous weekend.
“It’s a good positive note to go into the playoffs on,” the coach said. “Don’t get me wrong, we put ourselves in a good position for the playoffs. I talked to the team about not backing into the playoffs. They looked at me like I’m crazy, but we want to go in with confidence.”
Adlai Stevenson 36, Evander Childs 0: Stevenson won its fifth straight game to improve to 8-1 and will host William Bryant a week from Saturday. Evander Childs (3-6) meets Lafayette next weekend.
