The PSAL baseball title game will not be at a major league park for only the second time in history, according to PSAL officials.

Shea Stadium was unavailable for Friday’s game between Tottenville and Monroe because of a concert being held there on Saturday, so they will play at KeySpan Park.

Mets’ Executive Vice President David Howard said that the Latin music concert featuring Daddy Yankee had been in the plans since the fall and that Shea’s unavailability had nothing to do with the melee at Madison Square Garden during the PSAL basketball championship in March.

“It’s just a conflict with the dates,” Howard said. “And we think KeySpan gives a more intimate atmosphere for a game like that. Plus, it’s less expensive, so the PSAL will save some money.”
