The Red Bulls finish a marathon month tonight in Kansas City (8:00, MSG), having played eight games in 32 days, seven of them on the road. Forward Juan Pablo Angel (hamstring) makes his first start in a month, though Claudio Reyna (disc) is going to be out several more weeks.

The Red Bulls looked drained in Saturday’s 4-0 loss at Colorado after which coach Juan Carlos Osorio said they “didn’t compete.” Tonight is a chance at redemption; for some it’ll be their last, with newcomers Jorge Rojas, Juan Pietravallo and Diego Jimenez in the fold and the possibility of even more transfers when the window opens Tuesday.

The Red Bulls (5-5-5, 20 points) are in sixth place in the MLS Eastern Conference, and in a three-way tie for the eighth and final playoff spot halfway through the season. A win tonight would vault them into third place in the East as well as the overall standings.
