Boston Globe Red Sox writer Pete Abraham takes a look at the Yankees’ longtime AL East rival.

Abraham reports the agent for first baseman Adrian Gonzalez will be in camp soon with a contract extension expected shortly after Opening Day.

Abraham also says the Red Sox are unlikely to make a trade prior to the start of the season, despite calls from their fans to do so.
