Ronda Rousey is pregnant!
The WWE star and former UFC champion announced the good news on Wednesday, in a video announcement on her YouTube channel with husband Travis Browne.
“I don’t know how to put this — pow, four months pregnant!,” Rousey 34, gushed on YouTube.
The expectant mom pulled a pillow away from her stomach to proudly show off her growing baby bump.
Rousey, who said she’s been pregnant since January, admitted, “I can’t hide it anymore, so it’s time to show it off.”
Rousey and Browne, who began dating around 2015, tied the knot in Hawaii on August 28, 2017. Browne popped the question under a waterfall in New Zealand, Rousey said during an appearance on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” in July 2017.
Rousey’s pregnancy news comes at a time when WWE fans are curious about her future and when the 2018 RAW Women’s Champion will return to the ring.
Her last appearance on the small screen was WrestleMania 35 in 2019 when she lost the Raw Women’s Championship to Becky Lynch.
Just five days before announcing her pregnancy, Rousey played coy about her eventual return to the ring.
“I don’t know. When I feel like it. Eventually, when I feel like. I don’t know,” she said during an April 26 appearance on the “Table Talk” podcast, which is co-hosted by WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley.
Rousey said that “the baddest baby on the planet,” will arrive sometime in September.
The future parents plan to share the baby’s gender at a later date.
Earlier this month, WWE President Nick Khan weighed in on Rousey’s eventual return.
“Ronda [Rousey] is gonna be coming back at a certain point in time,” Khan said on “The Colin Cowherd Podcast.”
Khan added that Becky Lynch, who welcomed her first child in December, is “gonna be coming back at a certain point in time in the not too distant future. So we’re as bullish on that group of folks as on anything else at this company.”
Lynch is engaged to WWE superstar Seth Rollins. The two were supposed to wed in May 2020, but postponed the nuptials due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Though, there’s much speculation that the pair may have tied the knot in secret.
