Serena Williams, who pulled out of the Olympics with a knee ailment, and Andre Agassi will be featured on Monday’s opening-night card at the U.S. Open, tournament officials said.
On Tuesday night, defending Open champion Andy Roddick and Russian blonde bombshell Maria Sharpaova, who won Wimbledon, will make their Flushing debuts.
