Shane Lowry got to celebrate his British Open victory on Sunday with his two biggest fans.

After earning his first career major at the 148th British Open, Lowry embraced wife Wendy and their 2-year-old daughter, Iris, on the green at the Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland. The trio later posed for photos as the 32-year-old golfer held the Claret Jug.

Lowry, who is now the fifth Irishman to win the Open, finished 15-under after a 1-over 72 in the tournament’s final round.

Count Sunday’s win as one of the biggest moments of Lowry’s life, which also includes his New York wedding back in April of 2016. The newlyweds made it official at City Hall, followed by an intimate reception at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, according to The Independent.

“Anyone who knows Wendy knows that she doesn’t like the limelight or anything like that,” Lowry said of the quiet affair.

“As long as we knew our families were happy, we were going to go ahead with it,” he said.
