After being left out of the NBA’s midseason gala for first time in his career last season, the Suns’ Shaquille O’Neal received his 15th All-Star selection when the reserves were announced last night.

Also named to the Western Conference reserves were Chauncey Billups of Denver, Pau Gasol of the Lakers, Dirk Nowitzki of Dallas, Tony Parker of San Antonio, Brandon Roy of Portland and David West of New Orleans.

West starters for the Feb. 15 game in Phoenix are Kobe Bryant of the Lakers, Tim Duncan of San Antonio, Yao Ming of Houston, Chris Paul of New Orleans and Amare Stoudemire of Phoenix.

East reserves announced yesterday were Chris Bosh of Toronto, Danny Granger of Indiana, Devin Harris of the Nets, Joe Johnson of Atlanta, Rashard Lewis and Jameer Nelson of Orlando and Paul Pierce of Boston.

East starters are Kevin Garnett of Boston, Dwight Howard of Orlando, Allen Iverson of Detroit, LeBron James of Cleveland and Dwyane Wade of Miami.
