JOHN DaSILVA

TODAY’S PLAY: In the seventh race, Pletcher unleashes Polan, a $120,000 purchase from the two-year-old in training sale in Ocala in March. Play $20 to win and a $10 exacta part wheel of Polan with the Ward entry, Brassy Ego and Goodtolook. Total bet: $50.

YESTERDAY’S RESULTS: Hardshell was overmatched and tired badly. With the late scratch of Enclosure, loss of $40 for the day.

BANKROLL: $1,860

VIC CANGIALOSI

TODAY’S PLAY: In the opener, play $30 to win on Black Rhino. Then a pair of $10 doubles using both Flashy Sunrise and Tiz Yankee in the eighth with Johannesburg Smile in the ninth. Total bet: $50.

YESTERDAY’S RESULTS: Heavily favored Summer Front was a clear winner cashing our ticket for $43.50. Ladywell Court closed well but only to finish third. Lost $6.50 on the day.

BANKROLL: $1,997.50

ED FOUNTAINE

TODAY’S PLAY: In the fifth race, $20 to win on Citizen Emma; $10 daily double, Citizen Emma with Party of Interest in the sixth; $20 to win on Party of Interest. Total bet: $50.

YESTERDAY’S RESULTS: In the ninth race, the Sanford Stakes, Bern Identity ($50 to win) won paying $5.60, producing a $90 profit.

BANKROLL: $2,052

ANTHONY AFFRUNTI

TODAY’S PLAY: Red Leader fits nicely at a price in the second race. We’ll play a $10 exacta box with Carson Hall. The remaining $30 we’ll play in the fifth to win on Omnitap, who is facing a questionable field. Total bet: $50.

YESTERDAY’S RESULTS: I know chihuahuas that would have gotten a better start out of the gate than Ezzy did in the third. That cost us our $10 win bet, but Rigby was rolling at the quarter pole and won going away returning $188 for our $40 win bet. Profit of $138 for the day.

BANKROLL: $2,115
