SARATOGA SPRINGS – Long before Sightseek made her first start, trainer Bobby Frankel knew he had a special filly on his hands. So when Juddmonte Farm’s homebred daughter of Distant View made her debut here last summer as a 3-year-old with Jerry Bailey in the irons, it was no surprise she ran off to score by 73/4 lengths at 8-5.

In nine starts since, Sightseek has never run worse than second, winning five, including the Humana Distaff at Churchill Downs and Odgen Phipps Handicap at Belmont Park in her last two starts. Today she goes for her third straight Grade 1 victory, stretching out to a mile-and-an-eighth as the 121-pound highweight in the $250,000 Go For Wand Handicap at Saratoga.
