Not even childbirth will slow down US women’s national team star Alex Morgan.

Fresh off of her second World Cup victory with Team USA – where she served as co-captain and was awarded the tournament’s Silver Boot for her six goals – Morgan said she plans to play in the 2020 Summer Olympics. Morgan is expecting a baby girl with husband Servando Carrasco in April.

The Tokyo Games are scheduled to begin on July 24, less than four months after her first baby is due.

“I hope to get back on the field as soon as possible,” Morgan told USA Today on Tuesday. “After having a healthy baby, I want to get back with the national team and look forward to playing in Tokyo.”

Morgan assured she can balance being a mother with her soccer career, which has seen her become one of the most decorated women’s players in the world. Morgan also won a gold medal with Team USA at the 2012 Olympics in London.

“There are so many women that have been able to come back to their respective sport after pregnancy and continue to have a successful family while playing their sport that they love at the highest level,” Morgan said. “I plan to follow in those footsteps and be one of those women who have a family and carry my daughter around as I’m going to the next city to play. And I still want to continue to enjoy the sport that I’ve been playing for all my life.”
