Curacao had chances in the first half, with Bacuna and Chong coming closest.

But Pepe sealed the win in the 64th minute, burying a shot into the top corner after Sangare slotted him through.

Ivory Coast finishes second in Group E and will face the runner-up of Group I, currently Norway, but potentially France.

Curacao's World Cup debut ends as they finish bottom of the group with one point.
