Captain Kane scored twice in a back-and-forth first half, opening the scoring from the penalty spot (on the second attempt after encroachment) before Baturina leveled.

Kane then headed England back in front, but Musa equalized right before halftime.

England dominated the second half, with Bellingham restoring the lead shortly after the restart with a drilled effort.

Despite an xG of 2.8 compared to Croatia's 0.71, England had to wait until the 85th minute for their fourth, as Rashford rolled it home after a pass from Saka.

This was England's toughest group-stage fixture on paper, and Tuchel will be thrilled with these three points as they head to Boston for Tuesday's clash against Ghana.

Croatia will look to rebound against Panama in Toronto.
