It’s a storm over a teacup.

It is Team USA vs. England all over again as soccer fans from both sides of the pond battle it out on social media over player Alex Morgan pretending to sip a cup of tea in celebration of a goal during US World Cup semifinal win Tuesday.

English fans on Twitter blasted the move as “disrespectful” and lacking in class — and some even criticized Morgan’s tea-drinking technique.

“My biggest issue with Alex Morgan’s celebration is that it was v.poor tea drinking technique. You don’t throw it back like that, unless you want a faceful of boiling liquid. Also, no saucer in the other hand & neglected to do the satisfied ‘Ahhh’ afterwards. 2/10,” tweeted @J0NNYKING.

@DaggerDaz added: “Disrespectful #noclass.”

Several former England players have also criticized the stunt, with former captain Faye White telling “Good Morning Britain”: “I wish I was on the pitch to put in a tackle.”

But many American fans hailed Morgan’s moves.

“ALEX MORGAN SIPPED TEA AFTER SCORING AGAINST ENGLAND GIVE HER A STATUE ON THE NATIONAL MALL,” tweeted @BrodyLogan, hailing her a “national hero.”

“Alex Morgan just re-declared independence,” wrote @KavehAF.
