The ninth Women’s World Cup is set to kick off Thursday, July 20, and every game of the month-long tournament can be caught on Fox and FS1, along with the network’s digital platforms and apps.

The World Cup will take place in Australia and New Zealand, with the countries hosting 30 other teams that qualified for the world spectacle from their particular confederation tournaments or playoffs.

To start, the 32 national teams are divided into eight groups each consisting of four teams. The top two teams from each group’s round robin advance to the knockout rounds.

The tournament will go into the round of 16 followed by the subsequent rounds of the quarterfinals, semifinals and World Cup final.

The United States has won four titles (1991, 1999, 2015, 2019) and are the defending champions entering this year’s tournament. Germany has won two (2003, 2007), and Norway (1995) and Japan (2011) each hold one Women’s World Cup championship.
