Italian model Claudia Romani is now eligible to officiate matches in Serie A and Serie B — her native land’s top two soccer divisions — after passing an exam to become certified as a professional referee, according to the Daily Mail.

The odds are stacked against her: There has never been a female referee in Serie A, and game experience is not one of Romani’s best assets. For now, she’s sticking to mini-dresses and bathing suits — or vice versa — while working to earn her vertical stripes as a working ref.
