Belgium came to Vancouver and got the job done, defeating New Zealand 5-1.

They led 1-0 at halftime, and the only question was how they weren't further ahead given their dominance.

New Zealand tried to open up the game in the second half to keep their campaign alive, but Belgium's class shone through, extending their lead to three goals by midway through the half.

A New Zealand player pulled one back to cap off a brilliant tournament for him before Lukaku came off the bench for Belgium.

Lukaku then added a goal and an assist in ten minutes, sealing the 5-1 win and top spot in Group G on goal difference.

Unfortunately for New Zealand, their World Cup campaign ends here, finishing fourth with just one point.

Belgium advances to play one of the top-ranked third-place teams, while Egypt finished second and will face Australia in the Round of 32.
