Korea Rep 2 - 1 Czechia
South Korea stages the first comeback win of the 2026 World Cup, fighting back from a goal down to secure a 2-1 victory.
The first half was largely controlled by the Asian side, with Son having a couple of chances but unable to beat Kovar.
Czechia then struck against the run of play, with captain Krejci heading home from a long Coufal throw-in.
Hong's team responded eight minutes later through Hwang In-beom, whose perfectly placed finish leveled the scores.
Hwang was involved again just over a dozen minutes later, setting up Oh for the winner with a perfect assist across the face of goal.
South Korea now sits level with Mexico at the top of Group A, with both teams facing off on Thursday.
Czechia will meet South Africa on the same day.
That concludes our commentary for this Group A fixture.
