Should they stay there, they’ll be the rare team that owns the 1-1 and has options. They certainly appear to have their foundational quarterback, Jaxson Dart, so there’s no need to swallow hard and hope that Fernando Mendoza has more Peyton Manning in him than JaMarcus Russell. They can pick for need. They can hold out for a haul from a QB-needy team.
