The magnitude of Jalen Brunson’s star has never shined brighter, but with him and the Knicks resting up for the start of Monday night’s Eastern Conference semifinals against the Celtics, Judge took his star turn as DH against the Rays when the rain dances temporarily worked.

Brunson had donned his Superman cape in Game 5 in Detroit, and before Judge batted for the first time, before the scoreboard would greet him with his .432 average, 11 HR, 33 RBI, 1.312 OPS, they were expecting Judge to find his when he stepped into the batter’s box.
