BALTIMORE — Most of Aaron Judge’s statistical accomplishments as a Yankee have been centered around home runs. 

But he has flirted with another feat that has thus far remained elusive, though that could change by the end of the regular season if Judge keeps playing the hits.

Judge — who went 1-for-4 in Friday’s 4-2 loss to the Orioles — is batting .327 on the year, which led both the American League and the majors, with Athletics rookie shortstop Jacob Wilson the closest behind him at .317. 

There was still enough time for things to change over the final nine games, but Judge capturing a batting title would be a meaningful accomplishment for the Yankees captain who has long prided himself on being a complete hitter, now just a power threat.
