The calendar has flipped to September and the waiting game continues, with little in the way of answers aside from Aaron Boone repeating his belief that Judge will play the field again this season with 24 games left.
“We absolutely feel like he’s going to be back out there,” Boone said before the Yankees’ 7-1 win over the Astros on Tuesday at Daikin Park. “I know I keep saying it’s soon, and I wholeheartedly feel that way right now sitting here. I just don’t know that day yet.
